Benson Farm and Ranch is a great place to take any group of hunters. I've been working at BF&R since October 2005 and have seen the ranch improve in every aspect of ranch operations. Our whitetail bucks are gaining heavier antlers and overall Boone and Crockett score. This is the top hunting ranch that I think any hunter would be proud to call their hunting lease; 2600 acres of prime central Texas hunting country.

I have been the Secretary and Bookkeeper at Benson Farm and Ranch since April 2004. Previously I was the administrative assistant to the Texas Secretary of State for 2001-2004 & worked as the receptionist/secretary for the Benson Farm and Ranch 1999 – 2001. I was raised in the Johnson City area and now reside in Blanco, TX where my husband and I raise our two children. I enjoy my job very much, and have a great sense of pride for our community. It is a very rewarding place to be.

Charmaigne Benson

Charmaigne is a 2010 graduate of Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Austin Texas, but she has been cooking in a kitchen since growing up in the world famous culinary capital of - New Orleans, Louisiana. Charmaigne has presented her culinary skills to many different events, some even as large as the NFL Superbowl and the United States Olympic Equestrian Teams. Her passion for cooking can now be tasted at the Benson Farm and Ranch and she is proud to be part of their team located in the heart of the Texas Hill Country in beautiful Johnson City, Texas. Her devotion to please and feed everyone can be seen at Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. So sit back, relax and enjoy everything that the Benson Farm & Ranch has to offer.

Holly Lawson

Holly has been cooking meals for the hunters and guests at Benson Farm and Ranch since 2004. She also has assisted with parties and family gatherings since 1980. She brings a lifetime of cooking experience to us. Holly specializes in down home cooking and delivers a bit of the south in each meal. Desserts are a favorite; one of her specialty for our ranch is Texas Dirt Pudding. When Holly's not in the kitchen she is busy being a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and volunteer for her local church.

Josh Alba

Guide

Josh grew up in Dripping Springs, back when it was a small town.  He started hunting as a young man on his family's ranch.  Although he now works full time in law enforcement, he continues to pursue his love of hunting.  Josh has worked as a hunting guide at the Benson Farm and Ranch for the past five years.  His favorite guiding moments are those just after the hunter spots their target animal, sharing in their excitement and anticipation as the animal moves into range.   In addition to guiding experienced hunters, Josh also greatly enjoys sharing the hunting experience with new and youth hunters.  He often brings his own children to enjoy the unique and family-friendly outdoor opportunities available at Benson Farm and Ranch.

Richard Tomasini

I've been associated with Benson Ranch since 1971 and I've see this ranch turn from just a cattle company to a First Class hunting ranch with a cattle company. This is one of the top ranches in Texas and I've hunted all over Texas. In my business I expect the most out of the people I surround my self with and Ryan does the same. Knowing Ryan this will be a once in a lifetime season for him and his clients.

I've helped out at BF&R for the last three seasons and I also guide at the Diamond B Ranch a few miles away. But the deer at BF&R are in my opinion of great quality and size. Ryan management style is cut and dry and he works very hard year round to have the greatest opportunity for his clients. I'm looking forward to seeing what this season will bring.
