Preplow Shred The fields are shredded just prior to the plowing.
After being Shredded, the fields are then plowed 3 times.  This turns the soil over one and a half times ensuring clean fields for the planting of the Milo. Tractor Plowing
Milo Field The Milo is planted and maintained to develop into a reliable food source for several species maintained on the ranch.  The deer freely graze these fields.

Food plots are key for nutritional purposes as well as attracting deer of all sizes. Plants and grasses are planted in the fall and the spring for the many different species on the ranch. In the fall, plants like oats, wheat, rye grass and clover are planted as an added food source for the harsh winter months. Tractor Plowing
